The Art of Starting (Again)

Starting in art is harder than it looks. For me, it’s not one grand leap forward, but lots of small, uneven steps. ADHD, burnout, and life’s chaos mean I often circle around projects instead of moving in straight lines.

But here’s what I’ve realised: pivoting isn’t failure. Some days I dive into Photoshop. Other days, I just open a file, or share a single image that still carries meaning. Even tiny steps keep the creative thread alive.

If you’re finding it hard to begin, remember this: you don’t need a perfect plan. You only need one small move today. And if tomorrow looks different, pivot. Start again.

Art isn’t found in flawless consistency, but in those imperfect restarts. Each pivot is proof you’re still moving, still creating.

New Beginnings

Wild Art Visions has taken on many names throughout my journey as I have grown and developed as a passionate artist. A few years ago, I faced a challenging period of depression, during which I discovered the magic of photography for the very first time. A dear friend generously lent me their professional camera, and that moment changed everything for me—I fell in love with the medium of photography. Soon after, I invested in my own Canon 760D and signed up for Adobe's photography tools, which fueled my creative growth even further. I immersed myself in the art of editing and began experimenting with creating my own unique pieces. Years later, I am still capturing stunning photographs but am increasingly focused on finding my place as a digital artist, particularly in the realm of compositing. Today, we proudly embrace Wild Art Visions, which beautifully combines my enduring passion for nature and animal photography with my love for crafting thought-provoking composites that raise questions, challenge perceptions, and perhaps even remind us of the extraordinary beauty that surrounds us.
