Artist Statement – Wild Art Visuals

I create as a way of listening — to light, to form, and to the spaces between things.

Wild Art Visuals is where my photography and digital art meet: not as opposites, but as co-conspirators in noticing what’s often missed.

Whether through the lens or the screen, my work begins with attention. A shaft of light across concrete. A fox frozen mid-step. The quiet geometry of a shadowed corridor. These moments — raw, fleeting, unresolved — are where meaning often hides. I work slowly, intuitively, letting each image emerge in its own time.

As both chaplain and artist, I’m drawn to the threshold places — where stories shift, where people are held in tension, where beauty shows up uninvited. My practice is shaped by silence, by spiritual tradition, and by the emotional depth of the overlooked.

I don’t make art that demands to be understood. I make work that waits to be felt.
